Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

CPA certification or CPA track is required.

MBA is preferred but not required.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience, with a strong focus on S-Corps and partnerships.

Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

responsibilities:

Manage and review federal and state tax returns for S-Corporations and partnerships, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax regulations.

Lead tax planning and advisory services for clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities.

Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions.

Conduct tax research and provide technical expertise on complex tax matters, including restructuring and acquisitions.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax accounting under GAAP.

Stay current with changes in tax law and regulations, advising clients and internal teams on how these changes impact their tax strategies.

Develop and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.

Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
