Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. Communication, integrity, competence, and the ability to work well with others are important traits we expect the successful candidate to possess and demonstrate.

Effectively communicate with government customers, employees, and contract partners.

Manage multi-million-dollar efforts across two contracts for performance, yearly budget accountability and new contract development.

Provide management oversight across a wide variety of functional and technical areas to ensure that contractual requirements are met/exceeded. These areas include but are not limited to:

1. Employee safety, security, and overall well-being

2. Government Facility Maintenance

3. Government Logistics Warehouse Support

4. Submarine Fleet Logistics

5. Government Information Technology/Network Support

6. Government Application Programming Support

7. Government Property Inventory Accountability

8. Quality Assurance Program IAW ISO 9001:2015

9. Safety, security, maintenance, and lease stability of off base facility

Business Continuity Management responsibility for site level oversight and implementation of Emergency Response, Incident Management and Business Recovery activities and their support teams.

Human Relations/Ethics liaison responsible for providing guidance, training, and support as necessary to support BAE Systems Code of Conduct.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Education and years of related/relevant work experience required: High School Diploma and at least 14 years of related/relevant work experience or a Associate s Degree and at least 12 years of related/relevant work experience or a Bachelor s Degree and at least 10 years of related/relevant work experience or a Master s Degree and at least 8 years of related/relevant work experience.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – Effective and proper communication is required for interfacing with a range of seniority of people including company employees, government, military, and prime contractor personnel to effectively coordinate the performance and responses in a variety of work environments and locations

Proficiency in applications word processing, spreadsheet, and database development programs to prepare appropriate reports and documents for internal and external use.

Analytical and technical problem solving for effective decision making and for making recommendations in an established reporting chain

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment and make sound decisions while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations

Familiar with Strategic Systems Programs

Familiar with Strategic Weapons Facility

Familiar with Facility Predictive Maintenance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 – $195660

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
