Purpose
The Training Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of the training process within the assigned plasma collection center. Operates within the scope of EU Guidance on Good Manufacturing Practice and FDA cGMP 21CFR.
Key Accountabilities
Follows all SOPs, regulatory policies and procedures, employee handbook and responsible for remaining current on SOP changes.
Attend Staff Meetings and other team meetings, as required.
Maintains a clean, orderly and efficient work environment and ensures sufficient operating supplies are available as needed.
Follows all Health Safety & Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.
Maintains data integrity and confidentiality of personnel, donor and center information.
Partners with Management and Quality Assurance personnel to ensure training compliance is achieved and maintained.
Implements tools to develop a positive and effective training program.
Conducts hands-on training in the Medical Reception, Donor Floor and Plasma Processing areas.
Maintains employee training records according to company policy.
Coordinates and facilitates new employee orientation and training plans.
Familiarizes employees with established training policies, procedures, and regulations.
Maintains training courses and employee training records in company training systems.
Keeps current with companys new material, updates, and management tool releases.
Schedules trainees training periods consistent with center operations and training needs.
Delivers training related to SOP changes, new technology and processes to center staff.
Participates in the selection, assessment and development of Designated Trainers.
Maintains annual training requirements ensuring training certifications do not lapse.
Ensures training materials are available to trainees and staff.
Keeps trainees on task by monitoring progress and performing regular follow-up to complete training in a timely manner. Escalates delays in training progress to management staff, as needed.

Qualifications
Must possess high school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one-year training experience in a customer service environment, such as a medical office, retail, blood or plasma collection preferred.
Consistent work history in other industries acceptable as skills will be trained on the job. Plasma or blood collections experience preferred but not required.
Ability to coach adult learners in small and large group environments and explain complex concepts so that others can comprehend.
Strong organizational skills.
Confident presenting information to groups and individuals. 7. Perform in a manner that supports Company Core Values.
Physical and Mental Working Conditions
Frequently required to perform work while standing or walking.
Comfortable being near human blood. Frequently exposed to bloodborne pathogens and may be required to wear personal protective equipment.
Must be comfortable performing repetitive duties as outlined in standard operating procedures.
Occasionally required to enter freezer with a temperature of -30°C or colder for short periods of time and may be required to wear personal protective equipment.
Certified as competent in all area positions or the ability to complete training and competency assessments within 90 days of acquiring position.
May be required to work flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Occasionally required to life, push, pull up to 25 lbs.
Required to communicate and interact with employees and donors.
Occasionally required to travel overnight.
