Oncology Clinical Research Nurse
Job Description:
Looking to hire an onsite full time individual with clinical research experience to be a consultant CRN to support an ongoing Oncology clinical trial. This CRN must be experienced in being able to work independently. A candidate must help the site and study wherever needed depending on the specific assignment.
Responsibilities:
Standard Clinical Research Coordinator tasks (patient recruitment, screening, consenting, etc.)
Phlebotomy (peripheral veins only)
Intermuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal injections
Non-invasive sample collection (mouth swab, urine, sputum, etc.)
Perform ECG (excluding analysis)
Nasal administration
Collect and record of basic vital signs
Dispensation of oral products
Follow up with patients/send appointment reminders
Administrative tasks
Any study efforts deemed necessary by the site
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years in a Clinical Research Nursing OR Clinical Research Coordinator role
RN license in the state of FL
Phlebotomy experience
IP administration experience
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and electronic data capture systems (EDC)
Oncology experience required
Additional Details:
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 6-month contract with potential to be hired on permanently
Schedule: Onsite 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday) – during normal business hours
Start Date: ASAP
