Description

General Summary

Provides for safe control and/or eradication of plant, animal, and insect pests relative to buildings and grounds. Performs all other duties as assigned to satisfy the operational requirements of the contract.

Job Requirements Mandatory:

Must be able to pass respirator fit testing requirements in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134

Class E Florida Drivers License

Flight Line Driving Permit (to be obtained upon hiring)

National Agency Check Clearance

Florida State Pest Control License which includes General Household Pest Control, Lawn and Ornamental and Public Health

Obtain CEU’S for annual recertification

Demonstrated ability to competently perform operational responsibilities of position

Ability to read, write, speak and understand American English

Team Player ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others

Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings

Job Requirements Preferred:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High school graduate or equivalent

Working Conditions:

Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures, noise, inclement weather conditions, and other conditions determined by the nature of the job. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces at variable heights.
