This Opportunity
WSP Is currently searching for a Lead CEI Inspector to join our NAPLES, FL location.
Your Impact
Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
Inspecting construction work
Documenting field tests
Responsible for coordinating inspections.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
High school diploma
3 years of construction inspection experience (typically required)
Familiarity with CEI inspection standards and procedures
Experience with roadway, bridge, or infrastructure construction is highly valued
Experience in public works projects (DOT projects, municipal infrastructure)
Knowledge of construction methods and materials (concrete, asphalt, structural steel, etc.)
Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
Proficiency with inspection software (such as SiteManager, FieldManager, or similar)
Familiarity with surveying and materials testing equipment
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, detailed records
Strong communication skills to interact with contractors, engineers, and project managers
Problem-solving abilities to resolve on-site construction issues
Time management to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
