Job Description Details:
The Merchant Specialist Manager (MSM) is the primary sales leader for a specific region, segment or industry (Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, International, and Public Sector). The MSM is responsible for understanding industry/region opportunities and partnering with head of sales to form sales goals and objectives. The MSM is also responsible for leading applicable industry/regional pipeline management and reviews to achieve Net New Client Growth as well as retaining and deepening existing relationships
There are two positions we are looking to fulfill. One within the West coast region and the other within the East.
Responsibilities:
Drive messaging and shelf space in the market, with GBAM leaders, bankers, TSOs.
Lead regional pipeline management and reviews to drive sales success.
Drive messaging and shelf space in the market with GCB and GPS leaders.
Work strategically across business lines in a complex environment.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of direct core acquiring and/or merchant background preferably within the Business Banking or Middle Market Space
Minimum of 5 years of sales/portfolio management experience; including C Suite Level Sales.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of direct team management background in a sales and/or service environment.
POS (integrated/standalone) payment interfaces or related 3rd party gateways knowledge.
Fiserv product set experience.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$171,000.00 – $191,124.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
