Job Title: Reconciliations Accountant

Job Description

Prepare monthly inventory accounting and reporting, including journal entry preparation of finished goods inventory, raw material activity, and inventory costing. Emphasize balance sheet accounting. Complete monthly inventory balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline for various entities to ensure volumes and prices are accounted for correctly per GAAP. Identify outstanding issues and ensure unreconciled balances are promptly researched and resolved. Support North American Shared Services Accounting areas as required, including but not limited to revenue recognition, fixed assets, warehousing, and distribution. Prepare internal and external audit documentation and support. Challenge current business processes and create innovative solutions.

Hard Skills

5 or more years of experience

Blackline and SAP preferred

Advanced Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas

Strong reconciliation experience – reconciling to different accounts/reports/ledgers

Experience clearing GL/AP/AR accounts

Soft Skills

Need to have strong communication skills and be able to work with different departments in a fast paced, remote setting

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Environment

This position will be 100% remote but requires working EST hours, typical start time at 9am EST.
