This position is full time Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am – 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review, compile and analyze data from quality audits to identify opportunities for training and skill calibration needs based on results
Perform quality audits of staff to identify trends, summarize findings and provide recommendations to leadership
Utilizes criteria to sustain consistency in QA methodology
Ensure audits effectively assess current process, quality of work performed, and service provided to customers
Analyze outcomes of existing processes to identify opportunities for process, technology or training enhancements
Responsible for compiling and maintaining various quality reports and working with leadership to develop improvement plans
Assist trainers in new hire and calibration training within the department, as needed

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be 18 years of age OR older
2 years’ experience analyzing data, performing quality audits, and/or identifying process improvements
Understanding of contract and/or regulatory standards and their application to quality improvement initiatives
Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present data and information in a meaningful way that paints the picture of opportunities and possible solutions
Database experience (maintenance and querying) and working with electronic files/documents
Analytical thinking and teamwork skills
Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, multitask and meet tight deadlines
Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
Intermediate computer skills, particularly Microsoft office
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
Preferred Qualifications:
MedNet proficiency
Knowledge of relevant software, applications and equipment
Military background
Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding
Experience analyzing and reporting statistical data
Telecommuting Requirements:
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
