Financial Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing systems support for the financial applications and Finance division of BayCare.

Technical responsibilities include working on implementations, system upgrades, configurations and system security.

Provides technical and application support for system and applications.

Creates data queries and report writing based upon customer and business needs.

Provides interface and general maintenance support from IS and vendors to maintain system integrity and IS infrastructure.

Identifies process improvements and handles troubleshooting.

Works with and provides training on financial applications to finance teams.

Acts as a superuser of the financial tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting and IS and 3 years as a super user or application support for finance team OR High School Grad/GED and 5 years of experience as a super user or application support for finance team.

Possesses a mix of technical and financial knowledge from either supporting or being a member of the finance team.

Detailed, flexible and has good communication skills to be able to describe business processes to IS and IS processes to business.

Super user experience should include direct interaction with financial applications/teams and prior testing and participating in upgrades or implementations as a tester or peer trainer.
