Description: • Have the ability to prepare aircraft surfaces, mask, prime, apply finish coatings, and anti-corrosion chemical treatment. Performs a variety of operations to prepare and/or execute correct finish on sheet metal and extrusion parts.
• Cleans, sands, prepares, treats, hand rolls, and mask acrylic/sheet metal surfaces
• Displays ability to plan, layout, interpret blueprints, sketches to all engineering specifications;
determine sequence of operations, number of required pieces and method of setup.
• Uses a variety of tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Makes standard shop calculations relating to preparation and/or cure times.
• May monitor and verify quality with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Will input data as required.
• Performs other duties as required

Basic Qualifications:
1-3 years manufacturing experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience with surface preparation and coatings/painting and/or anti-corrosion chemical application and treatment.
Experience with manual labor in a production environment.
Desired Skills:
Experience reading Blue-Print/work order specifications.
Excellent communication skills
Critical thinking & problem solving abilities
Experience using use hand tools (i.e. sanding tools, cutting blades, brushes, scales, templates, and various other hand.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
