Job Description:
At Regions, the Capital Markets Debt Operations group comprises of Syndicated Loan Agency Services, Syndicated Loan Services, RSL Operations, RECM Operations, and Loan Trading Operations. These teams provide operational and risk management support the $11B Regions-led syndication portfolio, syndicated participation bought portfolio, FNMA, Freddie Mac, HUD, and loan trading portfolios.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides SME and team lead support for loan professionals who provide loan servicing support for the bank’s portfolio of syndicated/participated bank facilities
Leads direct communication with agent banks, lenders, and business partners
Provides oversight of quality control on new deals, restructures and amendments by thoroughly understanding the credit agreement verifying system set up accuracy
Ensures daily funding and payment activity to account for all daily cash transactions are completed timely and accurate by the team
Identifies risk with past due principal, interest, and fees an escalate to management and across relevant business channels
Communicates with internal/external agents regarding issues around these specialized facilities
Provides SME assistance to team in respect to loan related issues which may include missing payments, margin changes and/or unprocessed draw requests or conversions
Minimizes operational risks and losses and ensuring compliance with all bank policies and procedures
Reads and interprets complex legal credit agreements and related documentation working with credit, legal, origination
Reconciles control reports and engaging with leadership daily on Key Risk Indicators
Supports co-workers, work with various special projects or other tasks as assigned
Recommends latest methods to improve departmental procedures
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or five (5) years of banking work experience
Associates degree or seven (7) years of banking work experience
Three pus (3) plus years of management experience
Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position
Skills and Competencies
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Sharepoint)
Extremely detail oriented with a proven track record of accuracy
Organizational and time management skills
Understanding of operational and payment risk
Knowledge of Bank systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business: ACBS, AFS Level III, Clearpar, Syndtrak, Notice Manager

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
