Note: The hourly rate for this position is $28 – $28 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Hours: 5x8s, Monday-Friday, 40 hours Perform installations, maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting of low-voltage systems to specifications, blueprints, and industry standards.
Identifying, pulling, labeling, terminating and test category 5 and category 6 and fiber optic cable.
Installation of various types of pathway support structures such as J-hooks, cable tray, and support rings.
Coordinate with project manager and keep open line of communication on progress of project via daily logs, emails, phone calls, etc.
Ensure OSHA and Site-Specific safety compliance by following safety guidelines and practices continuously while on the job site.
Qualifications:
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to troubleshoot low voltage
Ability to pull and terminate fiber optic cable
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the commercial field required
Prior experience using Hand Tools,
Electrical Tools required
Position may require a drug screen
