We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician with a solid understanding of sub-systems in sUAS and the ability to troubleshoot. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sUAS assembly and electronic troubleshooting, handling of LiPo batteries or other energy sources, and knowledge of part numbering and BOM structures. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in torque measurements for small mechanical assemblies and handling Carbon Fiber (CF) materials. The role also requires familiarity with Linux and Windows-based tools.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, Alabama.

Work Environment

The work environment is located at 4465 Maysville Rd, Huntsville, AL. The working hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The facility is a new building, still in the process of getting up and running, with air conditioning expected by June. It is an open warehouse with different departments that are still being organized. The location also includes areas for UAS flight tests, situated in a more residential area.
