Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will work with the team engineering satellite operations ground system as a part of a larger system of systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of satellite operations and satellite mission scheduling.

What Youll Be Doing:

Work with the team to design, create, and implement the satellite ground systems infrastructure needed a ground operations center.

Providing direction on all System Engineering “V” approaches.

Establish Configuration and Risk Management processes.

Assist with program requirements writing including the creation of the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM).

Perform system reviews such as SRR, PDR, and CDR.

Creation of a program Systems Engineering Management Plan

Perform various analyses to optimize the total system of systems and/or system architecture.

What Required Skills Youll Bring:

Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline.

Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

A minimum of 10 years of related professional experience focusing significantly on designing and implementing solutions that enable building in lower security domains and deploying into higher ones.

Deep understanding of systems engineering, the system of systems concept, and systems engineering “v” approach.

Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to manage complex challenges; adept at prioritizing tasks effectively under tight deadlines within highly regulated contexts.

Desired Qualifications:

Certified System Engineering Professional

Experience with Cross Domain Solution (CDS) appliances and rulesets.

Satellite ground operations and scheduling experience.

Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Top Secret
