Overview

Private Duty CNA – Part-Time

Location: Hornsby, TN

Overview:We are seeking a part-time CNA to provide personalized, one-on-one care in Hornsby, TN. This position offers consistent hours with a Monday-Friday schedule, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.

Work Schedule:

20 hours per week

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.

Ensure patient safety and comfort during care routines.

Communicate patient needs and condition changes to the supervising nurse.

Maintain a clean and organized environment in the patients home.

Qualifications:

Current CNA certification in Tennessee.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Current CPR certification.

A passion for providing one-on-one care in a home setting.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting clients with either personal care or home management tasks

This would include assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care related tasks

Home Management includes tasks that include basic housekeeping, shopping and other related housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

Minimum age requirements is 18 years

Valid drivers license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy

Certification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide care

Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide

Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
