The Administrative Assistant 3 follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective support to an office, business unit, department, or other organization and its leadership. Answers telephones, screens calls, and takes messages so callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Administrative Assistant 3 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
The Administrative Assistant 3 transcribes, types, formats, and proofreads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software. Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available. Manages the appointments and schedules of applicable staff.
This position will support executive Leaders and several members of their teams.
Supports VP & AVP with the following:
Manages outlook calendar
Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available
Answers telephones, screens calls, and takes messages so callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately
Manage travel arrangements
Transcribes, types, formats, and proofreads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, agendas, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics, and spreadsheet software
Supports Directors, Managers or People Leaders with the following:
Schedule & coordinate conference center meetings or meetings that require scheduling of more than 10 people and the attendees include senior leaders (AVPs, VPs, Topline team)
Processing labels for UPS shipments
Telephone coverage: when away, forward to voicemail with a message that gives the caller the option to speak to a live voice by pressing “0”
Make business travel arrangements for several associates traveling together or coordinate logistics
Type letters, prepare PowerPoint presentations, develop spreadsheets, prepare agendas for meetings of more than 10 people, or other materials as needed
Escorting business visitors when associate is unavailable
Supports Individual Contributors with the following:
Schedule & coordinate conference center meetings or meetings that require scheduling of more than 10 people
Processing labels for UPS shipments
Telephone coverage: when away, forward to voicemail with a message that gives the caller the option to speak to a live voice by pressing “0”
Coordinate logistics for several associates traveling together
Escorting business visitors when associate is unavailable

Required Qualifications
2 years of administrative support experience working with senior leadership
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, SharePoint, Teams and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
Previous administrative or related experiences
Ability to balance and manage multiple initiatives and prioritize workload
Resourceful, strong attention to detail, ability to anticipate needs
Strategic planning/coordination (calendars, travel, events, meetings, etc.)
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors Degree
Experience with internet research and proof-reading/editing
Experience using various visual collaboration platforms (i.e., Lucid, Loop, etc.)

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$51,800 – $71,200 per year
