Job Description

Our team seeks to unleash the power of statistics and data science in late-stage product development and manufacturing. We aspire to be drivers of innovation and digitalization, as well as thought directors in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) data analytics to save and improve lives.

What you will do:

You will be an advocate for CMC statistics and data science and serve as a consultant to engineers, scientists, and principals in the manufacturing division. You will be a key member of cross functional teams and will provide statistical and data science expertise for designing experiments, modeling structured and unstructured data, and constructing data visualizations. You will provide technical support in design of experiments (DOE), analysis of data, statistical process control (SPC), simulation, design of sampling plans, and problem solving. You will also evaluate data for submissions and assist with replies to regulatory agencies and pharmacopoeia. You will mentor junior members of the organization and steer the introduction of cutting-edge technologies.

Minimum Education Requirement and Experience:

Master of Science (MS) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) with ten (10) years of statistical and data science consulting skills in DOE, SPC, linear and nonlinear regression, general linear models, simulation, and multivariate methods OR

PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) with five (5) years of coursework and skill set experience to include DOE, SPC, linear and nonlinear regression, general linear models, simulation, and multivariate methods

Required Skills and Experience:

Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with contending priorities.

Demonstrated resourcefulness and the ability to develop and implement innovations in practice of statistics and data science.

Outstanding oral and written communication skills to convey complex mathematical concepts and analyses to others.

Outstanding computing skills in packages such as R, SAS, JMP and Minitab.

Ability to direct cross-functional teams, motivate people, delegate appropriately and resolve conflicts.

Preferred additional Skills and Experience:

Experience in statistical and data science consulting in Chemical Manufacturing Controls (CMC) or Pharmaceutical Industry

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:

$181,600.00 – $285,800.00
