Responsibilities

CHI Saint Joseph Health has an exciting opportunity for an organized, efficient, data and people loving candidate! The Residency Coordinator works collaboratively within the System Clinical Education Department to facilitate and coordinate the CHI Saint Joseph Health Nurse Residency Program. The goal of this position is to assist us in providing a world-class new graduate Nurse Resident experience while ensuring that all elements of the program are well coordinated and communicted across the system. We expect the person in this role to support the highest standards of quality and professionalism. This is a perfect role for someone who is detail oriented, has strong technical and people skills (strong spreadsheets and reporting experience are a must!).

Primary responsibilities include:

Residency Program and pre-program Reporting, Tracking and Administative Responsibilities

Create and maintain a centralized database of current and potential residency program participants

Daily tracking of information of new graduates and externs

Coordinate New Grad Nurse requisition creation with Human Resources

Work with HR to ensure all residency participants are in correct job title and cost center, complete regular audits of this information

Provide Residency report-outs to organizational leaders

Coordination with schedulers and managers to ensure that all classes and pre-work are scheduled in KRONOS

Scheduling rooms for onboarding and classes

Develop and Maintain Residency Program Communication Materials

Residency Program Overviews

Residency Program Agreement for all new hires

Residency recruitment and marketing materials

Organizational Residency Point of Contact

Ongoing communications/updates with New Graduate Managers

Main point of contact for Residency Participants

Ongoing communications with Residency Coordinators regarding residency participation, reporting and feedback

Point of contact for all other stakeholders across the business

Other Residency Activities

Coordinate Residency Completion ceremonies

Other assignments as needed

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

High school Diploma or GED

Kentucky State Registered Nurse Aide/Or current EMT or Paramedic License

Strong organization, systems and spreadsheet capabilities

Required Certification

Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Pay Range

$25.18 – $36.52 /hour
