Job Title: Carpenter/ Craftsman
Location: Hopkinsville KY 42240
Pay rate: $12.50/ hour on w2
Duration: 3 Months
Shift hours: M-F7:00-3:00

Job Description:

• Performs structural work in the construction and repair of buildings, furniture, doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, roof, cabinetry, etc.
• Renovated structures and interiors.
• Installs and repairs linoleum, floor tiles, and carpet.
• Finishes carpentry work though sanding, painting, varnishing, etc.
• Builds and repairs auxiliary equipment such as fencing, signs, ramps, gates, guttering, etc.
• Operates and services saws, planes, drills, jointers, and hand tools.
• Provides assistance in other skilled trade areas.
• Interprets blueprints and construction drawings.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb, reach, bend, and stoop.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• One year of carpentry experience. Vocational or technical school training in carpentry or a related field will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Employees may be required to maintain valid drivers license and may be required to drive a licensed vehicle.
