Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team of automotive professionals. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. From minor dents to major collision damage, you will use your expertise to assess, repair, and refinish vehicles, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.

Responsibilities:

– Perform body repairs, including straightening, welding, and panel replacement.
– Repair and replace damaged components, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
– Perform structural repairs and frame straightening.
– Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
– Apply paint and finish coatings to achieve a seamless and flawless appearance.
– Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area.
– Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

– Previous experience as a Body Shop Technician or in a similar role.
– Proficiency in all aspects of automotive body repair and refinishing.
– Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and materials.
– Ability to operate and maintain body shop equipment and tools.
– Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
– Valid drivers license.
– I-CAR or ASE certification is a plus.

Wage:

Based Upon Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 — 50 per week

– Auto body repair: 1 year (Preferred)
