FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

The Product Launch Manager is accountable for the development, implementation, and execution of all New Product Development (NPD) launch strategies, field demos, and customer satisfaction. Engaging in cross departmental communications, the Product Strategy Specialist will ensure project task, goals, and timelines are met. The Product Strategy Specialist will also act as a product, equipment, and application expert.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Product Knowledge & Expertise: Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product lines, including key features, benefits, and applications. Become a recognized application and equipment expert , effectively supporting sales and marketing efforts

New Product Launches: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute successful product launches. Utilizes a deep understanding of applications to ensure new products meet market demands and customer expectations

Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of product strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive edge based on market insights and customer feedback, particularly in relation to application effectiveness

Market Research: Stay attuned to market trends and customer needs through ongoing research. Use your findings to help inform product strategy and provide valuable insights that align with customer applications

Training & Support: Provide training and support to internal and external teams, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to effectively sell and promote our products. Share expertise in application usage and equipment functionality to enhance team capabilities

Field Demonstrations: Conduct engaging product demonstrations for customers and dealers to showcase product capabilities. Leverage knowledge as an application specialist to ensure customers understand how our solutions can address their specific needs

Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers to gather feedback, address inquiries, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Act as the primary resource for application-related questions, enhancing customer trust and loyalty

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Some experience in customer service, marketing, or product-related roles is a plus but not required

Strong desire to learn about product development and customer engagement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Basic analytical skills and the ability to gather insights from data

Mechanical aptitude or a general interest in understanding equipment and technical products

Operate heavy, construction equipment to demonstrate proper operating techniques

Proficient in MS Office

Education and Experience:

Preferred bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Product Management related preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

Minimum of 3 years of product or project management experience

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to traverse heavy construction equipment and jobsites

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift-up to 45 pounds at times

Ability to travel roughly 50% of the time, project dependent
