Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Well-rounded technician who will be responsible for the operation, service, repair, and maintenance of the refrigeration systems at an ice cream manufacturing plant. This role includes occasional trips to the cold storage warehouse using your own vehicle. Responsibilities also include training and participation as a member of the plant Emergency Response Team, support of ice and ice cream manufacturing operations, and general plant and facility maintenance. Duties mainly consist of mechanical and electrical repairs on manufacturing equipment, boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems, as well as facility/building maintenance. The technician must be adept at recognizing and correcting abnormal operation conditions, preparing and responding to emergency operations, power failures, scheduled power outages, and system restarts after shutdown. Additionally, the role involves safely removing system components for repair or replacement and operating within OSHA standard compliance.
