Tooling Engineer (Onsite)
Keihin Thermal Technology of America, Inc.
SUMMARY
The Injection Mold Tooling team develops tool specifications; coordinates tool builds at suppliers; coordinates tool run-off and validation at the manufacturing location and coordinates delivery for in-house injection mold tooling for HVAC and Engine cooling. HVAC housings, HVAC doors and HVAC small plastic parts are molded in house for the HVAC team. Radiator tanks, CAC tanks, Engine cooling fans, Frames and Shrouds are molded in house for the Engine Cooling group. The Tooling Engineer is responsible to ensure the tool sourcing starts on time; the tools are built to our specifications and within the cost budget, with on time delivery to the product manufacturing location and the parts produced are within drawing design tolerances.
