Clin Nursing Director – Periop

Education

Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Masters preferred in either nursing business administration or healthcare related field.

Licensure/Certification

Must hold a valid and current license as a Registered Nurse from the Indiana State Board of Nursing. CNOR candidates preferred.

Experience

Must have 5-10 years of clinical experience within the perioperative setting and at least 2 to 5 years of management experience. ASC experience preferred. Experience with staff and facility scheduling.

Other Qualifications

Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills well-developed and respected leadership qualities and a comprehensive knowledge of surgical services. Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft applications such as Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint. Demonstrates ability to effectively manage time prioritize work multi-task across many duties and delegate. Understanding of payroll practices and an ability to utilize different software applications to facilitate day to day coverage of the facility required.
