Overview
The Centralized Bereavement Coordinator position will directly report to the Centralized Bereavement Coordinator Manager and is responsible for participating with other members of the interdisciplinary team in multiple branches in identifying the bereavement needs of the patient and family.
About You
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Undergraduate degree in human service field preferred
Counseling responsibilities require graduate degree in a related discipline
Minimum 1-year clinical experience in a varied multi-disciplinary setting; 3 years preferred Clinical experience in the areas of life-threatening and chronic illness, as well as grief and loss
Counseling experience in an individual, family, or group therapy preferred
Knowledge of terminally ill patients and their families and an understanding of end-of-life care, hospice, loss, and death.
