Job Summary
Join the Corewell Health team as a Quality Improvement Specialist and be at the forefront of driving measurable improvements across our clinical and non-clinical operations. In this dynamic role, youll have the opportunity to analyze and enhance existing processes, develop sustainable quality improvements, and play a pivotal role in closing care gaps to improve patient outcomes. By collecting and analyzing key quality data, youll recommend and implement innovative practices that lead to enhanced quality and patient care. We are looking for someone with hands on quality experience, who excels at working with datasets, understanding contracts, and possesses familiarity with HEDIS metrics. Essential Functions
Supports and drives improvement activities for accountable areas based on organizational priorities (project management, measurable deliverables, milestones, and data informed strategy).
Serves as a liaison between various departments across the Corewell Health System. Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a change agent to key stakeholders. Also ensures continuity and coordination of services with appropriate utilization of resources. Responsible for stakeholder management across collaboration within dept and organizational resources.
Drives continuous assessment and improvements using appropriate tools and methodology within the business, assists stakeholders and process owners in prioritizing improvement opportunities.
Competent at improvement science to drive quality performance in regulatory, accreditation and publicly-reported programs.
Analyze, interpret and communicate benchmarked quality data and trends to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
Continuously develop quality improvement knowledge and skills for the organization.
Support strategic quality goal setting to influence strategic priorities.
Support compliance of accreditation/TJC for quality chapters.

Qualifications
Required
Associates Degree or equivalent in a Healthcare related field
2 years of relevant experience with Quality improvement, performance improvement, project management or similar role
Preferred
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a Healthcare related field
1 year of experience in participation on improvement initiatives
CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list – Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), IHI Open School
CRT-Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified (CPHQ) – NAHQ National Association for Healthcare Quality Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
