Position Summary:
Assists in the preparation, deployment, and delivery of decision support reports and tools to quality improvement and organizational excellence users.
Analyzes user requirement and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software.
Provides guidance and solutions to users working with decision support software and data tools.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Provides analytical support using a variety of data sources.
2.
Analyzes and interprets data to provide information for management decisions.
1. Provides requested data as needed to complete reports and fulfill external audit requests.
2. Presents data to the management staff, knowing all elements of available reporting tools.
3. Loads monthly data and resolves any data integrity issues with data upload.
4. Directs and/or assists in the preparation of a variety of strategic studies and analyses to improve performance and makes recommendations using data sources.
5. Responsible for maintaining systems data integrity by verifying accuracy of data.

Leads and supports in implementing new systems.
9.
Serves as an expert resource for other team members on utilization and functionality of decision support tools.
10.
Deploys solutions in the creation of reports, including spreadsheet and graphics supporting data by required timelines for committees and/or external auditing organizations.
11.
Gathers and maintains accurate quality data related to organization-wide reports such as Corporate Patient Safety Dashboard Report. Maintains assigned databases and records, logs, files, and reports. Reviews data to identify trends related to patient safety issues, etc.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
13.
Performs other related duties as required and directed.
Qualifications:
Required
Associate degree in management, information systems, statistics, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
Three years of experience in a related analytics position.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in management, information systems, statistics, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
Three years of experience in a healthcare analytics position.
