Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities: – Responding to production requests for immediate
attention to production line issues and problems – Maintaining
production equipment – Maintaining records of preventative maintenance –
Creating requisitions of parts and supplies to maintain equipment –
Using knowledge to maintain electrical/electronic systems and general
production line equipment – Identifying problem areas and addressing
with permanent solutions – Following safety and quality procedures and
policies OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: – Associates
degree or equivalent from technical school or college – At least three
years of maintenance experience; experience in food manufacturing
environment preferred – Experience working with ammonia refrigeration
systems preferred – SAP experience is a plus – Advanced understanding of
manufacturing processes – Ability to make decisions based on standard
practice – Advanced understanding of production machinery and
equipment – Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshooting, and
problem solving – Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical,
hydraulic and pneumatic drawings – Familiarity with OSHA requirements –
Basic computer skills – Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach and
pull – Ability to lift/move 50 pounds – Ability to perform repetitive
work in fast-paced environment – Ability to work in temperatures between
