Set-Up Technician

Set-Up Technician Responsibilities: – Setting up, tearing down and
maintaining extrusion tooling and single and twin screw extruders –
Operating forklift – Conducting quality control checks against set-up
sheets, procedures, and work instructions; utilizing different
measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures –
Completing extrusion dimensional charts, check sheets, and required
documentation; responsible for updating set-up sheets and documentation
as required – Troubleshooting extrusion problems and providing
assistance to associates on other lines when needed – Making cartons,
skids, and tooling preparations for the next order OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: – High School Diploma or equivalent –
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively – Ability to stand for full
shift – Basic math and measurement skills – Ability to work in hot
environments – Ability to climb up and down platforms/stairs – Ability
