Weight Senior Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is currently searching for Weight Senior Engineer for a large shipbuilding client supporting the U.S Navy. This Weight Senior Engineer will be holding a leadership role over junior engineers in the EQ department, utilizing softwares such as ShipWeight and Axis, attending high level Navy meetings to speak to progress of project, and meet deadlines and work scope to ensure NAVSEA compliance. The ideal candidate will have a background in the maritime shipbuilding industry.

The ideal pay for this position is $43-52hr.

Skills and Requirements

10 years as a Weight Engineer or Hydrodynamicist can have either title

 AutoCAD 2D or 3D

 ShipWeight software experience (if a Weight Engineer)

 Siemsens Software- Star-CCM (if a Hydrodynamicist) null
