Job Description: Cafeteria and Housekeeping Team Member
The custodian and cafeteria team member is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of the lunchroom, break rooms, team member offices and restrooms. This role ensures all areas are cleaned and sanitized. Additionally, they will work in the cafeteria. They will be responsible for cleaning food utensils, serving pans, serving prepared meals to team members (while ensuring all food handling safety measures are being followed). This is a temporary job that could become a permanent position.
Hours:
Housekeeping: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2AM, there is 2.5 hours of food service from 5pm to 7:30pm
Pay: $20.50 per hour.
Pay is based on $17.50 plus a $3.00 shift differential
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
Working alongside the team members involved in the cleaning and upkeep of the cafeteria area and housekeeping dept.
Meeting and assisting vendors with transporting food into the cafeteria.
Follow food safety quality guidelines.
Serving food in a safe manner.
Ensuring cleanliness and organization of food prep areas.
Using POS system for team member transactions.
Packaging remaining meals for resale as individual meals.
Sweeping & mopping breakrooms, restrooms and hallways. Cleaning floors, walls, windows & restrooms according to the Leader Standard Worksheet lists (LSW).
Stocking food storage, custodial and PPE supplies for use in the cafeteria, locker rooms, bathrooms and frock areas.
Discuss and report any potential quality control or maintenance issues with Supervisor.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all supplies (food, utensils, paper products etc.)
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Working in Employee Cafeteria in tandem with the housekeeping position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Education: None
Required Experience: None
Preferred: Knowledge of food safety, customer service skills, cleaning, inventoring, POS Systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Must work effectively with all levels of management and employees
Position requires use of hands and commercial cleaners.
Ability to perform repetitive functions.

Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift and carry rup to 40lbs
