Work Environment

Our client makes trailers for the military and has recently been awarded a large contract, increasing their orders and the need for additional employees. The facility is clean and well-lit, with tall ceilings in the assembly area, which is divided into cells where trailers are assembled. The facility is heated in the winter but not air-conditioned in the summer, making it warm during that season. It is noisy in some areas due to air tools, but not consistently loud. The plant is divided into three areas: machining/fabrication, assembly, and the paint shop. There are about 100 employees, with a large first shift and a smaller second shift.
