Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst II is responsible for pricing and revenue analysis for the Commercial business. Pricing duties include, but are not limited to, building customer pricing, profitability analysis, and preparation and administration of financial agreements. In addition, will participate in routine financial and accounting processes and provide timely, accurate, and reliable information to the business and assigned internal customer groups. Position involves partnering with internal and external customer groups. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and analyze pricing and financial measures for specific customer groups, inclusive of product pricing, program execution, and profitability analysis. Analyze historical trends and external market conditions to help prepare recommendations for leadership to support Commercial business strategies. Facilitate preparation and administration of financial agreements/commitments from information provided by internal customer groups as necessary. Manage intake of and maintain customer or supplier contracts, profiles, and data to support future analysis and business decisions. Responsible for assigned customer pricing updates, ensuring accurate and timely execution. Perform general accounting duties including, but not limited to, journal entries, account reconciliation and customer reconciliation. Prepare monthly reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support business. Support month-end variance analysis to identify key drivers impacting sales volumes and revenue. Participate in Revenue forecasting and annual planning processes. Monitor and assure business process and customer program compliance. Manage workload, ensuring accurate and timely completion of deliverables, and engage in proactive communication when risk to meeting deadline to receive prioritization support. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or related field; will also accept equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or pricing, with demonstrated skills in financial analysis and reporting or financial accounting. Food or other manufacturing industry experience preferable. Excellent communication with strong analytical, problem solving, and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to manage workload, inclusive of collaborative prioritization and ensuring accurate and timely completion of work deliverables.
