This position is in support of the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Product suite, within the Optum Health Solutions (OHS). This suite of products includes utilization management, network management, claims processing, and care management. This position will focus on care management.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Focus will be to manage MSK hub partners and all aspects of vendor and product performance
Manage product portfolio inclusive of financial performance, value proposition, market analysis, business alignment, service delivery, and revenue growth/forecasting
Review product performance against expectations and lead changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance
Build relationships across the organization to determine and execute product roadmap
Support client level solutioning and sales for large, strategic accounts
Manage & respond to changing market dynamics. Summarizing challenges, forecasting impact, and creating action plans for executive audience
Represent product portfolio in enterprise projects to ensure business requirements and needs are accounted for in up and downstream processes and systems

Required Qualifications:
5 years of work experience in product management and/or product development
3 years of experience in Healthcare with product experience
Experience with clinical programs
Experience thinking strategically and collaboratively to overcome obstacles to achieve project results
Demonstrated expert level skill set in defining product strategy, developing, and implementing business plans
Demonstrated passion to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with early stage companies, testing and analyzing performance of new product models, launching products in new markets, and adapting to market demands
Experience managing day-to-day execution of vendor relationships including oversight of vendor performance, contractual adherence, issue resolution, and facilitating audits and approval of new services
Demonstrated ability to deliver results through a matrixed organization
Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
Proven excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven excellent analytical skills
Proven to be self-directed and self-motivated with proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deliverables, and meet deadlines

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
