GENERAL PURPOSE The Senior Director of Strategic Account Sales is a critical leadership role responsible for cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with key end-users and influencer groups. This position is vertically focused on the Higher Education, Corporate Office, Commercial Retail, and Federal Government sectors. The Senior Director will lead efforts to grow revenue, increase market share, and drive long-term partnerships within these verticals, aligning sales strategies with organizational goals and market trends. JOB RESPONSIBILITES Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on expanding relationships with end-users and influencer groups in Higher Education, Corporate Office, Commercial Retail, and Federal Government sectors. Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and fostering existing relationships with top-tier strategic accounts. Serve as the lead point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Lead and mentor a team of account executives and sales professionals, setting clear goals and providing ongoing coaching and development. Partner with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, and operations) to ensure alignment on sales strategies and account management. Develop service level standards focused on reducing response time and providing high customer satisfaction Establishes policies and procedures that produce high quality delivery that reflects industry best practices Implement systems to capture and report on service metrics, including any customer feedback or trends in product service issues Align customer service activities and initiatives to support and enhance the objections of the organization Develops and implements promotional events to increase sales volume Identify other LNCA opportunities and engage with LNCA divisions Develop and implement a specifications strategy to broaden focus to include the entire Legrand product portfolio Partner with brand product management in reduce risk within projects Stay current on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities in the Higher Education, Corporate Office, Commercial Retail, and Federal Government sectors. Demonstrate our core values of Customer, People, Integrity, Teamwork, Continuous Learning & Improvement, and Empowerment & Accountability JOB REQUIREMENTS Skills & Competencies: Relationship Building: Engages and establishes trust/credibility with key stakeholders Communication Skills: Articulates product / solution value proposition to align to end-user needs Product and Industry Knowledge: Serve as an expert resource to team Identify high potential end-users and driving opportunities across all Legrand AVD brands Maintain sales channel relationship to ensure trust and maximize cooperation Solid working knowledge of Professional Audio Visual and Video / Audio systems Excellent interpersonal skills Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law Partner with Legrand AVD FAM and Brand drivers regarding all opportunities developed throughout the process Coordinate between brand experts to assist in demonstration, specifications and opportunity success. Clearly communicate needed marketing and TASfor sales-support collateral and programs to the appropriate internal resources for potential development/implementation Maintain a working knowledge of all products to answer the majority of the day-to-day questions Excellent project management and planning skills, while providing high attention to details Drive specification and standardization Maintain accurate and timely reporting of information to ensure that both the customer and the Company are provided with the information they need to best perform their job. Minimum Education and Experience Required: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum10 years of sales experience Minimum of 3 years of management of people experience Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in the AV / IT Industries sales channel Experience working directly with end users. Experience using SalesForce.com Previous work experience in areas relevant to the assigned technology WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
