Salary range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and assist in the supervision and direction of operations personnel, billing, and admin teams to fulfill customer requirements and maintain job profitability.

Lead Construction Managers/Field Personnel/Sales and Office Staff for accurate and timely tracking of contracts, purchase orders, weekly timesheet submittals and lump sum progress.

Oversee billing, accounts receivable, payables at the branch level.

Oversee and perform collections duties, including but not limited to, lien waivers, review billings to contracts for accuracy.

Perform research and provide answers to internal departments relative to branch operations.

Process contracts and monitor legal review process and approvals.

Request of COI

Perform job cost duties, including maintaining spreadsheets, creating, and closing job numbers, and ensuring accuracy of job costing data.

Assist Region Controller with Audit requests

Assist Region Controller with Month end Close

Perform billing functions as needed

Oversee direct reports as related to operations, billing, payroll, accounts receivable, and payables.

Qualifications:

High School degree, or GED equivalent, required.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting preferred

Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma. It is desirable for the incumbent to have attained additional business-related education or specialized training.

Requires 3 to 5 years of office management experience.

It is desirable for the incumbent to have previous experience in the construction industry.

Requires excellent oral and written communication, skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and personnel at other branch offices and Corporate.

Requires ability to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions based on this data, and to effectively communicate the related required actions to customers and staff.

Strong understanding and knowledge of word and excel, and Business-related operations software is preferred.

Strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach employees to accomplish strategic goals and related tasks is preferred.

Understanding and knowledge of Union labor agreements

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds while moving files or manuals. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
