Job Summary
The Nutrition Assistant II is accountable for providing quality customer meals through snack and meal preparation and assembly, service and cleanup.
Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.
Supports the hospital’s goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospitals Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, two years food service and/or training preferred or combination of education and experience preferred.
Work Schedule
PRN – Varied shifts, as needed, casual requirements per department policy
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.00 – $20.50 per hour
