Job Summary
Duties include:
Follows and completes work assignments. Some duties include: Performs receptionist duties in Nursing Department. Provides information and direction regarding patient care activities as needed to appropriate hospital personnel/departments/family/visitors. Coordinates/functions as the admissions clerk for services provided by the Nursing Service Department. Obtains all the needed demographic, insurance, allergy, and HIPPA information for data entry into the computer to generate forms for signature and documentation. Schedules outpatient procedures for Nursing Service Department, and will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience/Licensure/Certification
Education: High School diploma preferred, but not required.
Experience: Previous experience in healthcare preferred, but not required. On the job training provided.
Pay
Minimum Wage is $16.50 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
