At our Fortune 1000 diversified energy company, you’ll find a friendly, community-minded environment, with flexible work schedules, opportunities for growth and development, and competitive pay and benefits.New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Administrative Assistant II, to provide administrative support for the Corporate Affairs business unit, which includes Regulatory Affairs, Government Affairs, Environmental Services, and NJNG Energy Services.Major Responsibilities:Prepare time reporting, travel arrangements, accounts payable, and business expense details.Verify expenses for Government Affairs, Environmental Affairs, NJNG Gas Supply, & CPCM.Prepare and/or support the preparation and distribution of routine correspondence, including e-mails, to internal and external stakeholders.Prepare and process large batch mailings for corporate events and distribution of Corporate Affairs materials.Provide telephone coverage and maintain personal calendar for VP Regulatory Affairs as needed.Plan and schedule departmental meetings and activities.Support the preparation of tariff changes including updating billing system.Ensure that tariff updates are properly posted on the website and distributed to stakeholders on a timely basis.Update the external website with Regulatory Affairs filings, postings, etc.Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, public hearings related to and routine communications and notifications to appropriate parties.Support the preparation and distribution of discovery requests and responses related to BPU filings.Maintain accurate files of all regulatory materials, including correspondence, regulatory filings, research materials, and internal documents.Provide support for special projects as needed.Provide financial budget support: data entry and/or verification of budgets for all accounts for the year using GEAC & JD Edwards systems.Provide support with investigations as needed.For Government Affairs, maintain contact lists for service territory and provide administrative support for Morris County Public Officials Reception, League of Municipalities and Conference of Mayors and Chamber Walk to Washington.Interface with Records Retention, packaging, preparing forms and requesting retrieval when needed.Support Energy Services with IMS verify as needed.Position Specifications:An Associates degree combined with 4 to 6 years of related work experience.Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet.Excellent organization and communication skills are required as well as the ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
