Software Engineer

Job Duties: Analyze user needs and software requirements; Develop and design software applications using Java, PHP, MySQL and C#; Modify existing software and recommend software upgrades; Perform system, integration and user acceptance testing of applications and fix bugs; Confer with other teams to obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces; Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues to optimize software performance;Design and maintain database systems within the application area; Prepare reports of development as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades;Provide training on system modification.Job Requirements: Minimum Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems/Information Technology/ Engineering (any field) and relevant coursework in PHP and MySQL, Database Systems, and Software Performance.In lieu of Master’s and coursework, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the above mentioned fields and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressiveexperience in the job offered or as a relevant computer professional. Experience must include 1 year of experience with designing and maintaining database systems, performing system, integration and user acceptance testing, and using programming languages such as Java, PHP, and MySQL, C #.Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience, education, or training.Job Location: Branchburg, NJ, and various unanticipated locations throughout the US. The candidate may be required to relocate to various unanticipated client locations throughout theUS.
