The team you will be a part of

The Digital Marketing team develops marketing, merchandising and creative strategies and affiliated programs to promote the organizations products and services through the Internet or other digital channels to increase exposure to and business from the target audience and analyzes their effectiveness. Develops and maintains website graphic designs and layout to support the organizations image, identity and brands. May be responsible for social media marketing and online community management.

This role in summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking someone passionate about direct-to-consumer (D2C) experiences to lead the e-commerce experience within our digital properties. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for driving solutions for the end user and experience with D2C platforms. This candidate will lead managing a team of authors while prioritizing and defining meaningful experiences for our consumers across our digital properties. You’ll inspire others to put the user first and craft experiences that highlight our products through promotional content, which are integral to everyday life. This candidate is a strategic and driven leader with a consumer-first mindset.

Your responsibilities will include

Manage a team of contractors on our Authoring Enablement team and coach them to ensure project timelines and goals are being met

Serve as the bridge between D2C sales and CDJ (Consumer Decision Journey) product teams to decide what needs to get built to deliver the appropriate business outcomes

Use creativity and collaboration to find solutions to problems, while maximizing return on effort

Prioritize and write stories to translate high-level consumer and business

Optimize time-to-market and operational efficiency through process improvements, enhancing consumer engagement and product visibility, and ensuring optimal performance of Core Web Vitals

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s degree

2 years of experience in a digital product management or product owner role

Preferred skills and experiences

Degree in Software Development, Design or Marketing

Agile / Product Management Certification

Experience working with analytics, A/B testing and user research tools

Previous experience in software, web development or eCommerce

High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams

Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills

Experience working with Jira and Confluence
