Associate Chaplain

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under supervisor of the Manager of Pastoral Care, and according to established policies and procedures of the hospital, the Associate Chaplain provides spiritual and pastoral care to patients and families and participates as a member of the health care team caring for patients, families, and staff. Associate Chaplains routinely visit in-patients each weekday as well as those who request pastoral care while receiving outpatient treatments and procedures.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associates Degree in the field of humanities
Two years of pastoral care or ministry experience in an organized place of worship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in pastoral care or the humanities
