Your challenge

The successful candidate will provide analytical support (70%) to the Global Logistics Manager assisting with X-Rite Transportation & Logistics commodity strategies. You will also provide support (30%) to the Compliance Manager on Duty Drawback processes and other projects supporting the Transportation and Compliance team.

As a Logistics Analyst at X-Rite Inc. you will manage:

Spend and price data from carriers worldwide to analyze cost savings optimization.

Data from various ERP systems to analyze freight recovery (OBFR) by regions.

Investigations of Supply Chain inefficiencies

Analytics of weekly and monthly detail, financial & performance reports

External supplier communications

Support Duty Drawback program

Support Customs Clearance process as necessary

Monthly allocations and accruals

Critical Success Factors for the Ideal Candidate Profile are:

Technical and Analytical excellence—must possess the technical skills necessary to be seen as credible by peers and managers, strong data analysis and interpretation.

Communication—must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms.

Teamwork—must be able to work with various associates in multiple functional areas including finance, IT and procurement as well as associates from all operating regions.

Process orientation—must be able to establish, document and use standard operating processes for evaluating data, developing project scope, financial analysis and data reporting supplier management and acquisition integration.

Project Mgmt. – must have strong project mgmt. skills being able to execute, communicate and analyses projects from start to implementation.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:

BA/S 4-yr Degree (preferred)

2 years professional work experience strongly preferred

Full proficiency in use of computer tools including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other database type tools. (Excel charts, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macro Files, BI)

Ability to work comfortably in ambiguous situations, know how to resolve conflicts and have a proven track record of achieving analytical & project results.

Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating concepts and recommendations and gaining acceptance and commitment.

Problem resolution skills and root cause analysis experience.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $63000 – $75000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
