Indorama Ventures- Indovinya is currently looking for an Operations Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Dayton, TX. This position will provide operations support for the Dayton Surfactants Plant. In this role, you will work plant maintenance work, maintenance budget control and the keeper of maintenance backlog. You will chair daily meetings on converting notifications to work orders and stay on top of scheduled maintenance.

What will be expected from you?

Responsible for the safe work performance of all personnel in area of responsibility.

Responsible for promoting and maintaining a clean and environmentally safe facility.

Encourage and target a zero safety and environmental incident rate for unit. Instill by example a high degree of safety and environmental work ethic.

Participate in monthly safety walks in area and ensure follow-up on findings.

Attend monthly safety meetings.

Responsible for communicating with Maintenance Team Lead as necessary to allocate staffing, tools, and equipment to facilitate smooth execution of work.

Responsible for chairing weekly Gatekeeper Meeting with MTL and Planner. This meeting will consist of discussions of notifications (e.g. what needs to be converted to work orders), and review of the backlog of the work orders to see what should be planned next and what should be selected from the work orders that are already planned for scheduling.

Work with Production Supervisors and Production Engineer to establish maintenance work priorities.

Chair daily meeting with Maintenance Team Leader, Planner, and Operations Coordinator (as needed) to review daily work, next day activities, and changes in priorities.

Upon approval by Operations Manager, approve daily overtime. Communicate needs to Maintenance Team Leader.

Responsible for area maintenance budget control. Maintain a cost ledger for all work (planned and unplanned) with estimated or actual cost (with input from Planners, MTL, contractor quotes, etc.). Run and review SAP cost transactions to track both actual cost and actual vs. planned cost.

Set up spare equipment fitness evaluations with appropriate Team Leader prior to working scheduled equipment repairs.

Keeper of the maintenance backlog. In conjunction with Operations Coordinator, determine what notifications are changed to work orders and planned.

Write work orders for unplanned maintenance activities. Ensure accurate estimate of this work. Write the requisitions for unplanned work.

Ensure Maintenance Team Leaders complete (TECO) work orders as required.

Participate in Maintenance KPI meetings.

Participate in Weekly Resource Allocation Meeting with planners and scheduler.

Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.

Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.

Assist other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follow instructions and perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participate in and complete company required training programs.

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

Minimum of 5 years relevant maintenance/operations/logistics experience in a process industry such as petrochemical, refinery, pulp & paper or power plant required.

BS Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of related experience preferred , or not less than 5 years of experience in a Chemicals Manufacturing / Maintenance environment.

Must have a level of proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs.

Must be able to understand unit processes and be action oriented in order to make knowledgeable, timely decisions relating to unit maintenance coordination.

Must be capable of developing and managing the maintenance needs of the operations group through effective prioritization and resource utilization.

Experience with SAP or other maintenance work order software.

Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.

Must have consistent track record of demonstrating leadership.
