Status: Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours weekly, schedule varies
Pay / Salary: $65,660-$72,956

As an instructor, you will provide instruction to students preparing to become Electricians. Your focus will be on helping students develop the skills they need to be job ready. RESPONSIBILITIES OF ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP INSTRUCTOR
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Attend teacher training meetings.
Attend regular professional development opportunities offered by the college.
Provide effective instruction and facilitate student learning for the program.
Follow course syllabi and lesson plans for the class
Perform evaluations of student learning, using course objectives as guides.
Mentor students, providing regular feedback on progress. The central goal of the program is student success. This includes completion of the program and successfully passing any required licensure or certification test, and placement in related employment.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS OF ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP INSTRUCTOR
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Must be a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician
Demonstrate on-going continuing education in the electrical field
