Job Title: TIG Pipe Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG Pipe Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel piping and aluminum. You must be able to pass a certification test to ANSI B31.3. This role requires the ability to read shop fabrication drawings, details, and standard weld symbols. You will be responsible for maintaining large quantities of materials, including insulation rolls, zeolite packs, and safety pigtails. Duties also include sweeping and maintaining cleanliness in various work areas, as well as performing tasks during downtime such as emptying trash containers and wiping down tables and shelves.
Hard Skills
TIG welding stainless steel piping
Experience with aluminum welding
Ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols
Full penetration butt weld 6G test
Use of hand and power tools common to the welding trade
Ability to perform in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
Knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques
Operation of manual or semi-automatic welding equipment

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Mira Loma, California.
Work Environment
Production environment with 18 total workers on the production floor, including TIG welding, 2 CNC stations, and several grinding/deburr stations. Steel-toe shoes are required. No machining will be required.
