Overview

The Corrective Action Request (CAR) Coordinator is responsible for reviewing all customer complaints within a suitable time frame. They must be able to participate in exercises to help identify root cause and generate corrective and preventative actions. The CAR Coordinator must be able to network effectively within the organization to acquire and disseminate information pertinent to customer complaints to the responsible stakeholders.

Responsibilities

    Coordinate the review of all Customer Complaints, and Customer Returns entered into CRM
  • Document inspection data accurately and honestly on required forms.
  • Create QA Inspection reports and AS9102 FAIs
  • Understand the use of Balloon drawings
  • Help coordinate Calibration efforts and hands one use of inhouse calibration software, GageTrak
  • Participate in Process Improvement Teams
  • Train other team members
  • Support the QA team as needed
  • Timeliness and regular attendance are required
  • Reviewing the progress and completeness of the CRM stages
  • Interpret & gather data from various reports and publish out to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand optical & mechanical drawings
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Experience in Problem Solving
  • Effective Team/Interpersonal skills
  • Work overtime as required
  • Thorough understanding of the seriousness of detailed, accurate, & honest Quality Records
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Basic understanding of the test equipment used in the Q.A. Lab & their capabilities.
  • Accurate reporting of Customer Complaints and failure modes
  • U.S. Citizenship or permanent residence required

Education/Experience:

Associates Degree in Technical Discipline or 2 years work experience in a Quality/Manufacturing position.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to see details at a close range; ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; work in warehouse environment.
