Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Registered Dietitian in Somerville, NJ.

Qualifications:

Required:

Some weekends and holiday coverage required

High School diploma or equivalent Required

Bachelor s Degree in Nutrition or equivalent Required

Preferred:

1 year with eating disorder preferred

Master s Degree in Nutrition or equivalent Preferred but not required

CEDRD certified eating disorder registered dietitian preferred

Minimum of 1 year Preferred but open to new grads

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Registered Dietitian with CDR- Required

Scheduling Requirements:

Day Shift

Per Diem Schedule (some weekends and holidays)

Essential Functions:

In this per diem, as needed, position you will participate as part of the multidisciplinary care team by providing evidence-based nutrition care and medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients using an all foods fit, weight inclusive Health at Every Size approach

Provide individual nutrition therapy/education, group counseling/education and participate in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans

Participate with Nutrition Coordinator to provide nutrition-related and/or meal monitoring training to non-RD staff

Assists with additional projects as assigned including those related to program development/improvement, policies, procedures, and quality assurance monitoring

Skills:
