Job Summary:

The Dining Services Director at College of Southern Maryland leads the overall success of a café and catering. This position will motivate, train, develop all staff to accomplish the goals and objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the client. Solves problems professionally, rapidly, fairly and maintains a working relationship with client.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Programs

Leading and Development of Staff

Financial Management and Analysis

Catering Management

Cafe Management

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years food service operation supervision experience

Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and client

Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Catering background

General culinary knowledge of basic kitchen practices, protocols and procedures
